Help needed for YouApps.com to grow

As mentioned in this blog post, YouApps.com is a hobby project of mine. Hopefully one day it will be something that can be transformed into a business. Until then I would like to invite anyone who find this site useful to help with building up content and everything else that is needed. Below I have given a few examples on how you can help.

Rewards and compensations

When the day comes that this site generates a good revenue there will be rewards and compensations for those who have helped it on its journey.

Become a Contributing Editor

There are so many web based applications available already, and every day many more are introduced. My focus at the moment is to build up the structure of the site, but also to start filling it with content. What I will need help with most is filling the site with good articles and reviews. By becoming a contributing editor and help produce good content you will not only help the site to grow, but also provide very useful help to everyone that finds it.

Writing Articles

Articles can have any topic related to web based applications and games. Everything from technologies used to trends, overviews and tutorials. I want articles for beginners as well as for people with more experience.

Review Applications

A web application can be very simple or very complex and YouApps.com will cover them all. Some applications are oriented to home users while others are business oriented, not to mention the enormous variety of what features and functionality they have.

Review Games

Do you enjoy playing games in your browser? Then how about sharing your enjoyment with others by reviewing games you play.

There will be more

As I continue to work on the site and introduce new features there will be more areas you can help with. YouApps.com is a work in progress that will evolve based on my own ideas, everyone that will help building it and of course response and feedback from everyone that uses it.

What experience do I need to have?

That totally depends on what you want to help with. In many cases it will be enough if you know how to use a browser and have a genuine interest in what you want to write about. For other topics more experience will be needed, such as for technical articles and tutorials.

How do I apply?

Simply use the contact form and select Contributing Editor as category. Then write a short description about yourself, your experience and what you want to help with. As soon as possible you will receive a reply.

It is an impossible task to discover all applications, games and other fun pages to include on the site. Therefore you can help us by using the suggest forms to point us to sites we haven't found yet.
