What is YouApps.com all about?

My goal is to create a website where you will find as much information as possible about web based applications. That is applications, including games, that will run directly in you web browser and thus not require that you download and install any software on your own computer.

Work still in Progress

This site is a hobby project for me at the moment. With hard work and a little bit of luck I hope it will some day turn into something more, only time will tell.

Yes, I know that I have lots of work left before it will start to look like I want. So far I have basically just got the basic framework up and created place holders where you later will find content and features.

Thank you Drupal
As I am getting used to the excellent open source CMS platform Drupal, which I use to build this site with, progress is speeding up more and more. I have only used Drupal for a short time and this is my first real project I use it for. So far it has lived up to all my expectations and then some. I would therefore like to express my thanks to the whole Drupal community both for creating such a fantastic product and the incredible job you are doing support it and all its users.

I can without any hesitation recommend that you give Drupal a serious look If you are searching for a good CMS system.

Thanks to this I know that I will be able to rapidly build this site, adding new features on almost a daily basis. Therefore, please come back often, I am sure you wont be disappointed with the progress.

Action Plan

My action plan at the moment is:

• Finish the design of the different sections you can see in the menu.
• Add a discussion forum.
• Get a much better looking logo. Feel free to send me your design.
• Create a new theme that suites my needs when it comes to look and feel, as well as usability in mind.

Plus of course add as much useful content as possible.

I need your help

A website is nothing without its users and users only come back to sites that offer them something they want.

My goal is to create a website that will provide you with what you are looking for. To do so I need your help. Don't worry, I don't ask for much. Simply by giving me feedback about what you think of the site, things you think I have done wrong, or improvement ideas you have, will make my work so much easier. That will guide me to create the site you want.
