For anyone who had home computer or a console 20-30 years ago this site will bring back memories of yesterdays games. For those of you who never had a chance to play some of these classics, it gives you an idea of how far computer games has come in just a few decades. There are even a few board games such as Othello and Connect 4 in there.
Steve Pugh, the man behind the site, has created a set of Java based games that is almost perfect clones of how these games looked when they first came out. This even includes the graphics. Its quite amazing thinking about how big these old arcade games was back then and that they now can be played in a simple web browser.
Personaly I don't really remember how many coins I put in the Space Invaders machine at the arcade, nor how many lessons I was late to when I forgot that the lucnh hour was over. Fun it was though.
Even the site itself is retro as its layout and graphics is very simple and you wont find any fancy flash graphics or other modern things.
I don't think this is a site you will come back to very often, but every time you get the urge for some nostalgia it is good to remember it.
